The Shoe Box program was a great success again this year and the boxes were delivered to the Christ Church Cathedral for distribution!

re:

Christmas Shoe box ministry is back!

Once again this year we are collecting shoe boxes packed with needed items (and a treat) for the Centre 454, which caters to families in need at the drop in centre, and the Well, women's drop in centre and shelter.

These boxes of toiletries (toothbrush, tooth paste, soap, face cloth), socks, mitts, gloves, scarves, notepads, pens... are given out to those in need at the Christmas dinner.

Please have your boxes in to our church by Sunday Nov 27. For assistance in getting them to us, call or email. (our church contact info, bottom left of this page)

Helping to make the world a better place

Electronic waste is a big problem for our planet. This is why The Ontario Electronics Stewardship (OES) website was launched April 1, 2009 to provide information about recovering electronic waste for reuse and recycling.

This program brings
Ottawa's current Take it Back! initiative to a whole new level.

Find a new home for your old computer with the help of the

World Computer Exchange.

We encourage you to explore both programs to help protect God's great creation for generations to come.
